Creating a Championship MentalityLeadership - Everything rises and falls with it
4 Personality styles - DISC Handling Failure The Power of a Team with a Common Dream Positive Mental Attitude - It makes the hard days better |
My focus is to talk with athletes (leaders especially) about how to use their personality to their advantage and to understand every team has all four personality types. If your coaches and leaders understand this, it will bring you closer together as a family and to your goals. Coaches, QB's, LB, need to understand this personality more than most.
If your team has goals set and you can get everyone to buy in and believe in one another, you will achieve success. One of the schools I've spoke to( COE College) is under new coaching and in a rebuilding phase. We all know what that means. The next few years are going to be pretty rough. But this TEAM had a mission and set goals. Most importantly, they did all the things off the field that it took to win games and were mentally prepared. They went 8-0 in conference and 11-1 on the season. Their coaches knew that it takes more than running plays to win games. You've got to have a psychological pattern for success as well.
